Description
The Seven Sorrows devotion originates from the 13th century in the Servite Order whose charism was in contemplation of the sorrows of Our Blessed Mother. Some of the promises attached to this devotion include peace in our families, wisdom into the Divine Mysteries, and consolation in our daily pains and sufferings.
This handmade chaplet is consists of carnelian and amethyst beads for each mystery. And the central medallion is embellished by Czech tear-drop crystals and imperial jasper beads symbolizing the tears of Our Lady. The vintage brass medals are cast from 19th century French originals. Instructions on how to pray the chaplet will be included.
